Celebrate the Summer Solstice in Golden Gate Park on June 20
Celebrate the start of summer with an amazing night of music in Golden Gate Park at the iconic Conservatory of Flowers. The City will revel in another free concert in the park from 6-10 p.m., featuring iconic songs from the 1960s. As the longest day of the year slides into night, the Conservatory welcomes back the Summer of Love light art installation launched in 2017. Photosynthesis, kicking off at 9:15 p.m., transforms the Conservatory into a canvas of colorful light art.

The flower-powered celebration is free and open to all ages. Kids' activities and a variety of food trucks from Off the Grid will also be available.

Getting there:
Space is limited at this event, and public transportation is highly recommended. Note that John F. Kennedy Drive from 8th Avenue to Kezar Drive will be closed from 5 a.m. to midnight on June 20.
