Preserving the Harvest: Pickling and Fermentation Workshop at Alemany Farm on May 6
Come learn about making your own pickles at our Pickling and Fermentation Workshop at Alemany Farm (700 Alemany Boulevard) on May 6 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon! In this hands-on workshop led by our very own Community Garden Coordinator Mei Ling Hui, you'll learn about the different types of pickled foods and what you need to know to make sure your pickles are safe and delicious. You will then make your own jars of vinegar-based pickles and sauerkraut from scratch to take home with you! Space is limited so be sure to RSVP as soon as possible!
